 Beaver Creek Farm is a small farm in west central Iowa and is the site of several unique efforts on the part of its owners, Charles Carpenter and David Tousain, to develop environmentally sound and economically sensible alternatives to today’s mainstream trends in agriculture.

 Charles and David actively promote local food systems, a regional economy, and sustainable agricultural practices. They believe farming ought to be a cultural endeavor as well as a business enterprise. They are attempting to make Beaver Creek Farm a viable alternative to the industrial model of farming.
