Beaver Creek Farm contains a 15 acre orchard of heirloom apple varieties and tart cherry trees. Apple varieties include McIntosh, Summer Rambo, Seek-no-Further, Wolf River, Winter Banana, Esopus Spitzenberg, Cox’s Orange Pippin and Virginia Gold.
The apples are marketed fresh in the fall. Tart cherries are made into preserves and frozen for sale to bakers.
Charles and David also have an apiary of 30 beehives. They produce and market honey products and beeswax candles under the Prairie Song Apiary name.
The farm also features a planting of American Bittersweet. The ornamental berries and vines are marketed in the fall.
